Pigeon Forge is home to some of the very best restaurants in East Tennessee! In previous blogs, we told you all about the top breakfast restaurants and the top lunch restaurants in the Smokies. Since we’re big believers in eating three square meals a day, we figured it was time to share our favorite places to have dinner in Pigeon Forge. You can’t go wrong when you dine at these five restaurants:
1. The Local Goat
The Local Goat has quickly established itself as one of the most talked about restaurants in Pigeon Forge. Local Goat Tavern has built its reputation by making all of its dishes from scratch using the best local ingredients. Standout menu items include the gourmet burgers, ahi tuna, fettuccine rocco, and the boneless pork chops. Be sure to save room for dessert, because the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is absolutely delicious!
2. Alamo Steakhouse
Alamo Steakhouse is another one of the most popular places to have dinner in Pigeon Forge. All of Alamo’s steaks are aged to perfection, seasoned in-house, and grilled over an oak fire to lock in the natural flavors and juices. In addition to their mouthwatering steaks, Alamo is also famous for its one pound steak burgers, which come with your choice of cheese, four slices of bacon, and a mountain of french fries.
3. Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que
If you’re craving authentic Southern BBQ during your vacation, Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que is the place to go! This wonderful restaurant smokes its meats for up 14 hours to create perfectly tender brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Of course, Bennett’s also serves all of your favorite BBQ sides, including spicy macaroni and cheese, deep fried corn, potato salad, and BBQ beans.
4. Smoky Mountain Brewery
Smoky Mountain Brewery is a great place to spend an evening with your friends or family. This restaurant has everything you need for a fun night out: locally brewed beer, awesome food, live music, and dozens of flat screen TVs for watching the game. Popular menu items at the Brewery include the pizza, chicken wings, burgers, and Reuben sandwich.
5. J.T. Hannah’s Kitchen
J.T. Hannah’s Kitchen is the place to go for the best all-American food in Tennessee! If you’re in the mood for a sizzling steak or the freshest seafood, then your tastebuds will be satisfied at this popular restaurant. J.T. Hannah’s Kitchen has a variety of delicious menu items, from their award-winning St. Louis Spare Ribs to their Killin’ Me Burger, which has two 8-oz. patties with double cheese and all the fixings! Pair your entree with a side of their onion rings that are made fresh daily, and end the night on a sweet note with some of Mama Laura’s Famous Strawberry Short Cake.
