2. Sugarlands Distilling Company

While you’re walking around downtown Gatlinburg, you can stop by the Sugarlands Distilling Company and bring your pet inside! Pay a $5 fee to taste quite a few of the moonshine flavors they offer, or head to the Cocktail Kitchen and try something from their menu or ask for the bartender to make you something special! You’ll love being able to take your pet inside, and they’ll enjoy being outside on the back porch while your sip your drink!

3. Smoky Mountain River Rat

River Rat provides a special tube for your dog, and for just $2, you can tether them to your tube. Dogs are only allowed on outpost A since it does not have as many rapids as outpost B. Dogs must weigh less than 60 pounds to be able to go down on the floats provided. You will have a blast floating down the river together!

4. The Gatlinburg Trail

If you love to hike and want to bring your best friend with you, go on the Gatlinburg Trail. The trail is 1.9 miles long going one way, perfect for a short afternoon hike. You’ll walk through the forest, so your dog will be able to smell along the path. It runs along the Little Pigeon River, providing you with great views the entire walk. This is one of the only pet friendly hiking trails in the Smoky Mountains. You both will have a great time hiking together!
