If you have pop culture fans in your family, step inside the Kryptonite Character Store to see all the latest and greatest items from television, movies, cartoons, games, and comics! Some of the other popular stores at The Island include the Big Rock Candy Kitchen, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Island Tiki General Store, and Patriot Peddler.
2. The Island Show Fountain
Another fun activity that you can enjoy for free at The Island in Pigeon Forge is the Island Show Fountain! This state-of-the-art fountain show starts approximately every 30 minutes, making it easy to catch a performance throughout the day! As you kick back in one of the rocking chairs surrounding the fountain, enjoy the spectacular presentation of water dance and light that is perfectly choreographed to the music. There are over 89 nozzles to help create the show’s performance, including a nozzle in the center of the fountain that sprays water 60 feet into the air! While the daytime shows are impressive, be sure to watch the show at night to see a magnificent display of color added to the presentation!
3. Free Live Music at Ole Smoky Moonshine
No trip to Tennessee is complete without stopping by Ole Smoky Moonshine! When you visit Ole Smoky Moonshine at The Island, you’ll be able to hear live music for free. The outdoor stage is home to free bluegrass concerts daily for visitors to enjoy. You can also head inside and browse the merchandise! While sampling the moonshine isn’t free, you can do it for just $5. In return, you’ll get a $5 off coupon for any item in the store!
4. People Watching
