If you loved the hit television show The Dukes of Hazzard, you are in for a real treat during your vacation to the Smoky Mountains! Cooter’s Place has recently moved to Pigeon Forge, where you can take a trip back to the good ole days when the Duke boys pulled off some wild stunts in the General Lee! Here are the top 4 things you need to know about the new Cooter’s Place attraction in Pigeon Forge:

1. What to Expect

The new location features a museum with a replica of the interior of Cooter’s Hazzard County Garage, which has been completely decked out with props to appear exactly like it did on the show. Cooter’s Place is also building a replica of the Hazzard County Sheriff’s Office for some awesome fan photos when Enos and Cletus come to visit. The best part is admission to the museum is completely free!

2. General Lee Photos

One of the highlights of Cooter’s Place attraction in Pigeon Forge is the General Lee, the iconic 1969 Dodge Charger driven in the television series! While it is a thrill to see this famous vehicle in person, you will be even more excited to know you can purchase a photo package with the General Lee! This is your big chance to have a picture taken while you are actually sitting inside the General Lee at Cooters!

3. Gift Shop Information

This is the place to purchase all types of Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia, including t-shirts, pictures that were taken on the set, wall hangings, and even miniature versions of the General Lee!

4. Times, Dates and Location

Cooter’s Place attraction in Pigeon Forge is open from 9 am to 8 pm Sundays through Thursdays and 9 am to 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The great thing about the new location is that it is in the center of town and just down the street from The Island in Pigeon Forge! This makes it easy to visit Cooter’s along with many of the other fun shops, restaurants, and attractions in Pigeon Forge! Cooter’s Place is located at 177 East Wears Valley Road, Suite 23, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
