Staying at one of our cabins for Christmas is an excellent choice. With toasty fireplaces, fully furnished kitchens, and breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains, our log cabins have everything you need for an idyllic Christmas in the Smokies. Our largest cabin can accommodate up to 32 guests, so your entire family can stay under one roof.

New Year’s Eve is another great time to escape to the Smoky Mountains. Each year, The Island in Pigeon Forge throws a fun New Year’s Eve party with live music, a countdown to midnight, and an epic fireworks show. Eagles Ridge Resort is just minutes away from The Island, so you can ring in the new year without worrying about having to endure a long drive after the party is over.

In February, a Valentine’s Day vacation in Pigeon Forge can be the perfect couple’s retreat. We offer a wonderful selection of cozy 1 bedroom cabins that are ideal for getting away with the one you love. We can’t think of anything more romantic than staying at a genuine log cabin tucked away in scenic East Tennessee.

2. Enjoy Pigeon Forge’s Winterfest Lights

These gorgeous light displays depict various Pigeon Forge icons and Christmas scenes, such as The Old Mill, Smoky Mountain wildlife, and the Twelve Days of Christmas.

All of the twinkling lights are located in the downtown area, just a short drive from our log cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge TN. We recommend stopping by the Pigeon Forge Trolley Office or the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center to pick up a free Driving Tour of Lights brochure and map, so you’ll know exactly where to find all of the Winterfest displays.

3. Visit Dollywood During the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival

No winter vacation is complete without a visit to Dollywood during the theme park’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival. From early November through the end of the year, Dollywood celebrates the holiday season with millions of Christmas lights and special entertainment. Highlights of the festival include nightly Christmas drone shows, a staged adaptation of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, and the chance to meet Santa Claus and all of his friends. Eagles Ridge Resort is just 15 minutes from all of the winter fun at Dollywood.
