This wonderful event runs from late September through early November and is the perfect time to celebrate the magic of fall in the Smokies! Another highlight of the Dollywood Harvest Festival is the live music at multiple locations throughout the park! You can experience bluegrass, country, and Southern gospel acts performing at multiple locations throughout the park. Various artists perform throughout the festival, with more than 500 concerts taking place!
3. Experience the Glow of Great Pumpkin LumiNights
Prepare to be dazzled by the glow of over 12,000 carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns during the Great Pumpkin LumiNights! This is the largest addition that has ever been made to the Dollywood Harvest Festival and features artistic sculptures, whimsical scenes, and plenty of awesome family fun throughout the Timber Canyon section of the park! You can see an incredible pumpkin tree, and other pumpkin sculptures and decorations like Dolly’s Guitar, Ambercup, and Big Bear Gourd.
4. Ride the Thrill Rides at Night
Dollywood normally closes at 9 pm during the festival, providing a rare opportunity to experience the park’s thrill rides at night! There is nothing like riding the Wild Eagle roller coaster as you soar through the darkness or seeing the glow of pumpkins from the top of the Drop Line free fall tower! There are also plenty of rides for younger children to enjoy too, including the Rockin’ Roadway, Treetop Tower, and the Village Carousel.
