Dollywood and Splash Country

4 Fun Water Attractions at Dollywood’s Splash Country That Are Perfect for Young Kids

Dollywood’s Splash Country is home to an exciting variety of water activities, including several attractions geared towards the youngest members of your family! Therefore, get the gang together, pack your bathing suits and get ready for a splash-tacular adventure in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! Here are 4 fun water attractions at Dollywood’s Splash Country that are perfect for young kids:

1. Little Creek Falls

Little Creek Falls is an adorable play area that features just enough water where babies and toddlers can play all day! There is actually no standing water, so your little ones can roam freely as they enjoy the interactive elements and cool off on a warm summer afternoon! When you and your kids are ready for a break from the sun, just head into the shade of the giant butterfly structures which cover portions of the play area! You never have to worry about groups of older kids in Little Creek Falls, as the park requires that guests over 48 inches be accompanied by a child less than 48 inches.

2. The Cascades

This 8,000 square foot lagoon style pool features more than 25 interactive elements, including water jets and bubblers! As if that doesn’t sound cool enough, there are also two slides that weave through a giant rock grotto and a 20 foot geyser that sprays up out of the pool! While your children have a blast exploring The Cascades, you can kick back in a comfortable chaise lounge that is situated on the 24,000 square foot deck space!

3. Bear Mountain Fire Tower

The Bear Mountain Fire Tower is a unique, multi-level attraction that your kids can climb to discover slides and water cannons! Keep your eye on the gigantic bucket at the top of the tower, as it periodically tips over and unleashes 1,000 gallons of water onto everyone below! Your children are guaranteed to get soaked from head to toe as they experience the adventures of the Bear Mountain Fire Tower, making it a delightful way to cool off on a hot summer day in the Smokies!

4. Downbound Float Trip

If you want to cool off during your float trip, just head beneath the cascading 200-foot waterfall that is sure to leave you drenched! While there are no height requirements for the Downbound Float Trip, keep in mind that all guests measuring less than 36 inches must wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by an adult 16 years or older.
