The Patriot Festival in Pigeon Forge
Pigeon Forge’s signature July 4th event is its annual Patriot Festival. This beloved celebration will be held on the 4th at Patriot Park, which is located next door to The Old Mill. The Patriot Festival features live music from big-name acts, games, food vendors, and fireworks. Best of all, admission to the festival is completely free!
Hit Country Duo Thompson Square to Headline Festival
This year’s Patriot Festival will be headlined by the popular country duo Thompson Square! Comprised of husband and wife Keifer and Shawna Thompson, Thompson Square is most famous for their two hit singles “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You”. The duo has released two albums and is currently working on their third record. Their latest single “You Make It Look So Good” was just released this month to rave reviews.
Before Thompson Square takes the stage, guests at the Patriot Festival will enjoy a concert from Departure, a Journey tribute band from Atlanta, GA. Departure plays all of Journey’s hits and faithfully recreates the sound and feel of the legendary band. If you close your eyes, you’ll swear you’ve been transported back to the 80s!
In addition to Thompson Square and Departure, the Patriot Festival will host a number of other awesome bands and musicians.
